NEWAFLUIDS rotary lobe pumps a type of positive displacement pump that changes the working volume by the relative motion between the rotor and the pump body, thereby increasing the energy of the liquid.

The system relies on two synchronously rotating, counter-rotating rotors to generate suction at the inlet during rotation, thereby drawing in the material to be conveyed. The two rotors divide the rotor chamber into several small spaces, which operate in a specific sequence, repeating continuously to achieve continuous conveying of the medium.

Rotary Lobe Pump Working Principle

The core of a rotary lobe pump is the periodic change in volume.

Intake: The rotor rotates in reverse, expanding the inlet volume → creating a vacuum → drawing in the medium.

Transport: The medium is sealed within the rotor and pump chamber, smoothly transported to the outlet.

Discharge: The outlet volume decreases → compressing and expelling the medium, continuously without pulsation.
